RIPA Lysis buffer

This buffer, which takes its name from Radioimmunoprecipitation assay buffer, is used for total protein extraction from membrane, cytoplasm, organelles and nucleus. Detergents such as NP-40 and sodium deoxycholate have been used in this solution to increase its lysing power. Due to the high ionic strength of this solution, it is not suitable for enzyme extraction.
